Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
43. Justice League (2017)
Justice League was initially marketed as a more light-hearted, Avengers-style corrective to the overly gloomy Batman v Superman, but amid tremendous post-production turmoil - including Zack Snyder being replaced with Joss Whedon - "Josstice League" became a stamina-draining bore.
Infinitely less interesting than Batman v Superman, the Whedon Justice League is a bland, soulless attempt to make the DCEU more broadly appealing to a huge international audience.
Despite some fitfully fun moments, it's harmed by painfully choppy editing to fit the studio-mandated two-hour runtime, a terrible villain in Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds), and the sheer awkwardness with which the Snyder and Whedon material is glued together.
Sadly for Affleck his physical appearance is markedly different from scene-to-scene, as he was in the midst of rehab while filming the reshoots. He seems bored and uninterested for most of the Whedon part, and honestly who can blame him?
