Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

25. Mallrats (1995)

Though Kevin Smith's follow-up to Clerks didn't reach nearly the same innovative highs, it did afford him a much larger sandbox to play in - namely, an actual budget and a slew of name actors including Jason Lee, Jeremy London, Shannen Doherty, Claire Forlani, Joey Lauren Adams, Michael Rooker, and of course Affleck himself.

Mallrats is at its core a love letter to comic book fandom and nerd culture as a whole, many years before such a thing became normalised in mainstream society.

A thoroughly entertaining movie that perfectly captured the mid-90s mall hangout zeitgeist, Mallrats may be a little scattered, but it matches its hilarity with plenty of heart.

The Stan Lee cameo alone justifies its existence, honestly.
