Every Cillian Murphy Movie Ranked Worst To Best

Outside of his work with Christopher Nolan, Murphy has tended to steer clear of big-budget blockbusters, but he made a rare exception for In the Heart of the Sea, a historical adventure flick based on the non-fiction book that inspired Melville's Moby-Dick.

His role this time around is the definition of a supporting turn. Reeling off some exposition with gusto and certainly looking the part of a weathered sailor, he's quick to move aside so star Chris Hemsworth can do all the heavy lifting.

Murphy is too good to phone this kind of role in, but there's no doubt it's too minor a part to rank as one of his more memorable escapades.
