Every DCEU Film Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 2017
Warner Bros.

Yikes.

There didn't seem to be any reason to be too sceptical about this one prior to release; after all, the same crew behind the original were all back and the trailers were very solid.

So, when the film arrived and turned out to be a cinematic train-wreck, it was a very nasty surprise, especially since this is one of the only blockbusters that actually came out during 2020.

Where to begin? Both of the villains are beyond cringe-worthy, many interesting ideas are mishandled, that whole body-swap thing was incredibly problematic, the script is a complete mess and perhaps most insultingly of all, there's pretty much nothing in the way of compelling spectacle.

In fact, I think the body-count of this movie might've literally been zero.

And yes, this is worse than Batman v Superman. At least that movie actually had some action. Thanks to strong direction and typically good acting across the board (aside from Pedro Pascal and Kirsten Wiig), it's superior to Suicide Squad but it's still among the worst superhero films of the last ten years.
