Every Francis Ford Coppola Movie Ranked Worst To Best
12. One From The Heart (1982)
One From the Heart was a nightmare to make. The studio bankrolling the project were close to collapse, Coppola upped his budget by a considerable margin in hopes of creating a more ambitious film than was originally planned, and the set pieces used in the finished product was an unreasonable headache to construct.
Whether it was all really worth it is up for debate, but there's no denying that Coppola's vision of Las Vegas makes for one of his most impressive achievements. The colours of the background, reflecting the mood of the characters and the beauty of the city, are to die for, as it Tom Waits' bluesy original soundtrack.
The only problem with the film is the core relationship between Frederic Forrest's Hank and Teri Garr's Frannie, which is never quite as dramatic or well-drawn as the scenery that surrounds them.
