EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity

Nurse Daniels - Rob Zombie's Halloween II

Halloween II's Nurse Daniels is a rarity in that she's played by a future Oscar winner: Octavia Spencer.

However, the character only has a few minutes of screen time, being on shift when Laurie Strode has been shipped to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital following the events of Rob Zombie's first movie.

Considering Michael Myers was believed to be dead after that first film, you can give Nurse Daniels a little bit of slack for not expecting the Shape to resurface and continue his bloody rampage. And as for that rampage, Daniels is slashed across the face, stabbed a whole bunch of times, and then has a knife stuck in the top of her head.

Joan Cunningham - Halloween Ends

Corey Cunningham's mother, this one is another kill that technically happens off-screen, but we certainly see enough puzzle pieces to put together what happened.

Fresh from killing four bullies at his stepfather's scrapyard, Corey returns home and, in a nice tribute to the original Halloween, we get a first-person shot of him grabbing a kitchen knife from a drawer, as he then approaches his mother while she watches TV. We then see her dead body with several stab wounds in the torso.

Throughout Halloween Ends, it's made abundantly clear that, not only is Joan way, way too overbearing with her son, but that she's also extremely emotionally and physically abusive towards him.

Budd Scarlotti - Halloween II

We barely got to know him, but one of the few things we did know about EMT Budd Scarlotti is that he was a bit of a horndog, sleezily trying to woo pretty much any female we saw him interact with during the first act of Halloween II.

The one woman who's fallen for Budd's act, though, is Nurse Bailey, and the two meet up in a therapy room to get hot and steamy. Unfortunately for these lovebirds, things are a little too hot and steamy, with Michael Myers on hand to turn up the temperature of the therapy pool they're canoodling in.

When Budd gets out to fix the thermostat, he's strangled to death by Michael with a cord, all as Nurse Bailey is completely unaware.

While he was all kinds of icky, and you're not exactly disappointed when he's killed, it'd be wrong to label Budd's death as a stupid decision by him. After all, he was just looking to fix a dodgy thermostat.
