EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity

Annie Brackett - Halloween

Halloween Michael Myers Annie Brackett
Compass International Pictures

Played by genre fave Nancy Kyes, Annie Brackett is the first present-day victim of Michael Myers. Well, the first present-day death that we see on-screen, at least, for there was a mechanic killed by the adult Michael shortly after he escaped from Smith's Grove Sanitarium. That victim doesn't count for this list, though, as it occurred off-screen and we only got a brief glimpse of the dead body.

The daughter of Sheff Brackett, Annie gets in her car to go and pick up her boyfriend Paul, unaware that Michael is waiting in her back seat. And with that, the Shape strangles her and then slits her throat.

On the stupidity scale, you have to give some of the victims of that first Halloween a little leeway, for this is at a time when Haddonfield had no idea that Michael Myers had escaped or what he was capable of. Sure, they may have heard of the troubled six-year-old boy who killed his sister 15 years ago, but we're now 15 years removed from that and with zero indication to the general public of what the adult Michael was capable of, that he'd escaped Smith's Grove, or even if he was still alive.

The last thing Annie would have expected was for a would-be serial killer to be lurking in the back of her car.

So brief was this guy's Halloween 4 appearance that he didn't even get named. Generic mechanic, it is, then.

The second on-screen kill of The Return of Michael Myers, this man is simply doing his job, working away under a car, only to be attacked by a bandaged-up Michael, who stabs him through the body with some sort of metal pipe.

Eddy also didn't even see it coming...

With Michael heading to the Myers House towards the end of Halloween 5, the Shape drives a car into the back of the unsuspecting Deputy Eddy's police car, and then just beats the absolute tar out of the fella through the driver's side window before Eddy can even react. It's a brief kill, but it's a brutal one, with Michael just beating the cop to death.
