Every Harry Potter Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

14. Griphook

Bellatrix Harry Potter
Warner Bros.

Whilst his stint as a villain is brief, Griphook is a memorably nasty character.

He was little more than a cameo in the very first Harry Potter film, but in the last story in the saga he has a much more substantial role. Warwick Davis does a brilliant job here, giving Griphook a quiet intensity and an uncertain nature. He feels more weathered and cynical since the first film; it's an effective and clever change of character.

Unfortunately, he's criminally underused. He's in the first act of the last film, and then he's killed. A more expansive role could've added an extra villainous dynamic to the finale.
