We didn’t know much about Clint Barton for most of the MCU, and because of this, he was a character that was hard to grow attached to or even care about for that matter. But all that changed with Hawkeye and the expansion of his character through the struggle he faces after the events of Endgame.

Here we can finally see the frail man that is Clint Barton. He’s afraid of many things, including the loss of his family and the fear of himself, as he still lives in regret over what he did in his years as the Ronin.

But when Kate Bishop enters his life, everything changes as she brings out all the best parts of him. She makes him believe in something greater once more and has him face the Ronin and his fear of being vulnerable with the people he cares about.

Clint is a character many of us didn’t care about, but after seeing his human side and what he truly cares about in life, he’s become one of the best and most emotional characters in the MCU.
