While the Moon Knight TV show is currently still airing, even with an incomplete number of episodes, it’s easy to tell that both Steven Grant and Marc Spector are some of the best protagonists in the MCU.

It’s easy to be on Steven’s side starting with the first episode; he’s just some random guy with not much going on in his life other than a simple job as a clerk at a museum gift shop. More than anything, he wants to live without problems. That is until Marc Spector takes over and he’s forced to live his life as Moon Knight.

The characters' struggles feel unique compared to what we’ve gotten from the MCU, focusing on both the battle from the outside and the conflict between the two leads, making it easy to get hooked along for the ride.

Emotion has played a massive role in making most of these characters great, but Marc and Steven are more about their stories' thrill or mystery. They’re two characters at odds with each other, and seeing how they interact is what makes them some of the most compelling to date.
