Every Headline MCU Protagonist Ranked From Worst To Best
5. Loki - Loki
Outside of Thanos, the only other villain that has become one of the most iconic in the MCU is easily Loki. He was conniving, clever, and somebody you always wanted to see more of, especially in phase 1 with his more prevalent role.
However, it wouldn’t be until Phase Four that Loki finally got his debut as a protagonist with the Disney+ series, and it is one of the best to come out.
Like in Ragnarok, Loki shows that even though he’s destined to be evil, there’s still a side of him that's good, a deeper part of him that has been tucked away for years but comes out to light during the conflict of the series that shows us that even a guy like Loki can be noble and find love in unexpected ways.
The romance with his alternate self Sylvie feels somewhat uncanny at first, but we get to see a deeper side of the character because of this; through this, we learn that even though he’s the god of mischief, he’s still just as human as us.
