4. Wanda Maximoff - WandaVision
Like other characters, Wanda is also someone who shined on the small screen after the MCU decided to explore more of her after having a relatively minor role in the films, and she is easily the best character to have gotten this treatment.
Wanda has gone through many things in her life, including abusive experimentation and the loss of everyone she’s ever cared about, and yet, through all of this, she continues to fight and even holds her own against Agatha Harkness.
She’s a character with one of the most well-defined backstories of the MCU, the likes of which we haven’t really seen all that much of in the films and could only be done by an extensive TV show like WandaVision—seeing her struggle to come to terms with her reality and eventual acceptance of her suffering developed her character in a natural way that was engaging to watch and served as the best part of her series.
While it’s probable that we’ll see her as a villain in the future, she’s still someone who’s proved to be one of the best-written characters in the MCU and will likely make a significant impact in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
