Every Headline MCU Protagonist Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Kate Bishop - Hawkeye
Kate Bishop was one of the most unexpected standouts from the Hawkeye TV show. Not only did she instantly become one of the most lovable characters in the franchise, but she's also one of the best-written ones we've gotten in a long time.
The young girl lost a lot when her father died during the first Avengers movie, and it's this grief that inspires her to pick up a bow and arrow and train to be like the person she idolizes most: Hawkeye. However, even though she constantly strives to be better, she still feels like a failure in many aspects, such as her hero Clint Barton often not approving of her way or how she's never able to find a healthy relationship with her mother.
These issues give the character depth in ways that make us grow an extreme emotional attachment to her. Combine this with a young and naïve nature, and Kate is easily one of the most fun additions we've gotten in the MCU.
Luckily, she just debuted in Hawkeye, which means we'll likely see her in future projects.
