Every In-Production Fox Marvel Movie That Could Join The MCU

Deadpool 2 set up the future release of X-Force by establishing the team in that film... right before killing the lot of the team's members. Either way,Deadpool 2 was a huge success, which meant it would get a sequel, and Fox greenlit development of an X-Force movie as well.

Unfortunately, the development of that movie may be in jeopardy, and while Fox planned to begin filming in early 2019, the merger has kept that from happening. Back in January, the team's creator, Rob Liefeld, Tweeted "Pour one out for ol’ X-Force. Victim of the merger. $800 million grosser easy."

It's not official, and the plans for filming are still on the books, but it does look like X-Force might get the axe thanks to the merger meaning it may not be filmed at all - in or out of the MCU.

If that happens, it wouldn't be great for fans, but if the movie does end up getting made, it's possible it might end up in the MCU. Delays in filming can only help to make this happen seeing as Feige is going to need time to introduce Mutants and bring them on board with the rest of the MCU. At this point, anything can happen so long as the movie gets made eventually.
