3. Multiple Man
Fox opened the door on Mutant solo films with the success of Deadpool, which is how movies about Gambit, Kitty Pryde, and Multiple Man found their way into development. Back in 2017, the latter's solo film was announced with Simon Kinberg tapped to produce a Multiple Man film starring James Franco in the lead.
The character was last seen on screen thanks to Eric Dane's performance in X-Men: The Last Stand, but since that time, he has only appeared in comics and animated series, including both Wolverine and the X-Men and X-Men: Evolution.
A solo film starring the character would certainly be entertaining, and now that the merger is completed, the door is wide open to throw Multiple Man and his many copies of himself into the MCU.
Like the other Mutants on this list, Multiple Man could find himself a part of the MCU if Feige finds a place for them. There has been a lot of fan-speculation online about a future X-Men vs. Avengers storyline in the MCU, so he might be thrown into the mix that way if the solo movie is put on hiatus due to the merger.
