Every James Bond Main Villain Ranked Worst To Best
11. Max Zorin - A View To A Kill
The 14th entry in the series, A View to a Kill, should've been a big deal since it was Roger Moore's last outing as 007. But due to a bad script and the fact that Moore was way too old for the role (57 at the time), A View to a Kill is at the bottom of the pile. The film would've been a total disaster if it wasn't for Christopher Walken's charismatic turn as the tyrannical industrialist, Maximillian Zorin.
Even though the Bond franchise usually doesn't hire Hollywood stars, casting Walken was a no-brainer. With his eccentric manner, striking face, and distinctive accent, Walken was born to play a Bond villain.
Zorin may not be a well-written character but Walken has a natural talent to elevate a bad script, making his banter with Bond and his relationship with his iconic henchwoman, May Day, exceedingly entertaining. He may not be a great villain but he's definitely the best thing in an otherwise forgettable movie.
