Every James Bond Main Villain Ranked Worst To Best

Because Dr. Julius No was the debut villain of the James Bond franchise, it may seem blasphemous to have him so low on the list. But if you rewatch the 1962 classic, it's clear No comes across as generic and childish. The way he repeatedly calls Bond "stupid" makes the Chinese-German scientist sound like a toddler having a tantrum rather than a criminal mastermind

Even though it's frightening to see the egomaniacal terrorist demonstrate his strength by crushing an ornament with his metallic hands, he never uses these appendages practically at any point in the movie. (The fact that his mechanical hands prevent him from climbing out of the radiation vat in the climax also directly leads to his death.)

Considering Dr. No popularised the idea of telling Bond his entire diabolical plan and placing him in an easily escapable cell, he shouldn't get as much credit as he usually receives.
