Every James Bond Main Villain Ranked Worst To Best
7. Rosa Kleb - From Russia With Love
When Scott Evil sees the titular character in Austin Powers, he asks Dr. Evil, 'What are you doing? Feeding him? Why don't you just kill him?' This is an obvious reference to the irritating trope that Bond villains have of not killing 007 when they have the chance. Even though terrorists know that Bond has cheated death dozens of times, they always are more than happy to dress him, have him fed, and even show off their evil lair to him.
But not Rosa Klebb. The instant this reprehensible Russian colonel was in the same room as James Bond in From Russia with Love, she instantly tried to assassinate him. Disguising herself as a maid, Klebb weaselled her way into Bond's hotel room and held him at gunpoint without quipping a one-liner or spouting a monologue.
If it wasn't for the intervention of Tatiana, Bond would've been pushing up daisies. Even though Bond is stronger, he narrowly avoided death since Klebb almost stabbed him with the poison-tipped blade concealed in her shoe.
Despite being in her 60s and not being much of a fighter, Klebb comes closer than most at besting MI6's most well-known spy.
