Every James Bond Movie Ranked Worst To Best

16. Live And Let Die (1973)

Spectre Daniel Craig
MGM/UA

Roger Moore's debut as 007, Live and Let Die could have been an ill-conceived failure given its heavy inclusion of blaxploitation motifs, but was luckily a rousing success that still stands as one of the franchise's most exciting instalments.

This time around, Bond is forced to confront the terrifying drug baron Mr. Big, a cruel Caribbean dictator with an alligator farm and a hook-handed henchman called Tee Hee, and team up with Jane Seymour's all-timer Bond girl Solitaire.

Of course, its iconic villains and effective voodoo tropes are briefly wounded by Mr. Big's inflatable death scene, but even then Live and Let Die makes for an thrilling and unique ride few Moore-led movies have been able to match.

That the whole thing comes complete with arguably the best Bond song of them all - courtesy of Paul and Linda McCartney - is just the icing on the cake.
