Every James Bond Movie Ranked Worst To Best

23. Die Another Day (2002)

Spectre Daniel Craig
MGM

The final 007 adventure to star the great Pierce Brosnan, Die Another Day is often noted for how it effectively torpedoed the franchise and made it clear the series was in desperate need of an overhaul.

Full to bursting with references to the preceding Bond films to mark the franchise's 40th anniversary, the film follows Brosnan as he hunts for an MI6 mole and crosses paths with Halle Berry's NSA agent Jinx.

Though Brosnan himself tries his damnedest to overcome the film's increasingly gimmicky script, he's not even close to overshadowing its wonky CGI, boring villains, invisible cars and unintentionally hilarious product placement.

Pierce Brosnan really deserved better than this, and as a general rule of thumb, if even Roger Moore says your film has gone too far, chances are you've really dropped the ball.
