Every James Bond Movie Ranked Worst To Best
22. A View To A Kill (1985)
Roger Moore's final Bond film, made when he was approaching sixty, A View to a Kill has two saving graces courtesy of villainous co-stars Christopher Walken and Grace Jones, but is otherwise entirely ruined by its lethargic action scenes and dire stakes.
Directed by series veteran John Glen with little care, the meandering story about a maniacal supervillain intent on destroying Silicon Valley is about as thrilling as watching paint dry, and so too is the final showdown on the Golden Gate Bridge.
But the biggest issue of A View to a Kill by far has to be the inclusion of Moore himself, whose cheesy take on cinema's most famous spy had by now lost most of its charm. Moore is noticeably tired and uninterested throughout, and his age makes scenes with his much-younger love interest Tanya Roberts tough to stomach.
As noted, Walken in particular shines, but not bright enough to save the film from its biggest missteps.
