Every James Bond Villain Ranked Worst To Best

21. Emile Largo - Thunderball

Renard James Bond
MGM

The lead villain of Thunderball is the first villain of the series who was, to brutally honest, pretty crap.

A bog-standard Spectre operative who's holding the UK and USA to ransom with a pair of nuclear bombs, Emilio Largo (Adolfo Celi) is a painfully mediocre villain who's never very threatening, interesting or sinister.

He's got a cool eye-patch, his pool of pet sharks is pretty neat and he dispatches a couple of his own henchmen in a pretty savage way, but other than that he's an uninteresting and underwhelming dud of a character.
