Every James Bond Villain Ranked Worst To Best

Once Blofeld arrived on-screen, he didn't disappoint. He doesn't appear enough in You Only Live Twice and his physical appearance is a bit silly, but for the most part, he is an incredibly memorable, fearsome and largely effective supervillain.

British character actor Donald Pleasance nails the performance and has exactly the right level of hammy to it, while his brutality to his followers and his mad scheme to start World War III make him a very intimidating villain too.

And, of course, his volcano lair - complete with a pool of piranhas which he feeds his enemies and failed underlings to - is the stuff of legend. He is one absolutely awesome bad guy that cemented himself as a cinematic icon with only around ten minutes of screen-time.
