Every James Bond Villain Ranked Worst To Best

8. Rosa Klebb - From Russia With Love

Renard James Bond
United Artists

Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya), the main villain of From Russia with Love, is absolutely terrific.

A brilliantly repulsive and nasty Soviet Spectre agent played to perfection by Lenya, she is the first great main villain of the series and she kicks the previous film's Doctor Julius No into a bin-liner.

She's elevated even further by just how realistic she is; this makes her feel like even more of a threat, since she seems like the kind of villain many British agents would've encountered at the height of the Cold War.

She goes out in style with a nice closing fight scene at the end of the film. All in all, she doesn't appear an awful lot throughout the film but she makes an incredible impact and every second counts.
