Every Jared Leto Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Panic Room (2002)
After Fight Club, Leto re-teamed with David Fincher for this deliciously claustrophobic, tightly wound little thriller that'd probably be a highlight of most other filmmakers' careers, yet for Fincher it's basically an outlier by being "very good" rather than "excellent."
Panic Room is nevertheless a masterfully crafted thriller that takes a seemingly familiar home invasion narrative and straps a damn rocket to it.
Directed with mesmeric style by Fincher - whose slick, roving camerawork is an easy highlight - and terrifically acted by its ensemble, especially a rarely-better Jodie Foster, this is a classic case of a decent script that's elevated so much by everything else around it.
Leto plays one of the three home invaders, Junior, and if nothing else, you'll surely never forget that he styled his hair in cornrows for the part. Iconic.
