Every Jared Leto Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

27. Cool & The Crazy (1994)

Jared Leto Suicide Squad
MGM

Leto's movie debut was in this TV film starring opposite Alicia Silverstone. Inexplicably directed by legendary animated filmmaker Ralph Bakshi, Cool and the Crazy casts Leto and Silverstone as an unhappy young married couple whose relationship begins to unravel with unexpectedly dangerous results.

All in all this is a pretty typical dramatic thriller about domestic strife, and one that curiously doesn't make the most of its '50s period setting.

Leto and Silverstone do respectable work in the lead roles, but all in all you might be left wishing it were a little sleazier and trashier than it actually is.

A fair amount of the film is disappointingly dull, even if it never quite veers below watchable territory.
