Every Leonardo DiCaprio Movie Ranked Worst To Best

6. Revolutionary Road (2008)

Leonardo DiCaprio Shutter Island
DreamWorks

Based on the great American novel by Richard Yates, Revolutionary Road was advertised as the big reunion between Titanic co-stars DiCaprio and Winslet, both of whom had just entered into a new, much more grown-up chapter of their careers.

Tackling his role of '50s husband Frank Wheeler with panicky confusion and pent-up rage, DiCaprio's performance is one his best and most underrated, combining his trademark youthfulness to a serious man who's painfully unprepared for the tragedy awaiting his picturesque marriage.

At once a spotless book-to-movie adaptation and a devastating showcase of its two stars' acting prowess, Revolutionary Road is bleak and timely, and finds DiCaprio bringing to life one of his most complex and heartwrenching characters without flaw.
