Every Main Fast & Furious Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Takashi - The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift

Fast And Furious 6 Jason Statham
Universal Studios

Takashi, otherwise known as Drift King, is the most petulant villain in the series. He isn't a dominating drug lord, a leader of international mercenaries or a merciless assassin. Takashi is just a spoiled rich kid who has something to prove to himself and his Yakuza leader of an uncle, who devotes himself to the art of drifting in order to distract from his own insidious insecurities.

While on the surface, it might seem Brian Tee's work is underwhelming in comparison to other villains, Takashi is so compelling because of his relative subtlety. He lashes out like Johnny Tran but he has far more capacity for danger, slowly losing his grasp on the cool persona of the Drift King and embracing hatred and rage on the neon lit streets.

In a film that's so hauntingly melancholic, Takashi is the wildfire that inflicts the entire production with sadness and anger, leading to the beloved Han's death and leaving a spectre over the rest of the film. There has never been a more emotionally charged race in the series than Takashi's final showdown, where two men give all of themselves to one final act of brilliance. He is a wonderful villain.
