Every Major MCU Hero's Greatest Ever Moment

Through both the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Infinity War, Gamora has been an incredibly important character. Not only for her relationship with Peter and the rest of the Guardians, but because of her link to Thanos as his favourite daughter.

We all know how that story ends, with Gamora being hurled from a cliff on Vormir in order for Thanos to retrieve the Soul Stone. Not only did this show how much Thanos truly loved Gamora in spite of what he did to her, it was a shocking and heartbreaking (potential) end to the superhero’s story.

Though there may not seem much heroism about being murdered by Thanos on his way to collecting a full gauntlet, the entire reason he knew where to go for the Soul Stone was because Gamora traded that information to stop his torture of Nebula.

She didn’t know it at the time, but in saving her sister from that pain, she sacrificed her own safety, her own life, and ultimately the lives of countless beings across the planet. All Nebula ever wanted was a sister, and in Infinity War, Gamora proved that she had one. The price she paid was an incredibly shocking, and gruesome death.
