Every Marvel Comic Book Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
41. Elektra
For some reason, Fox deemed the reception of Jennifer Garner's portrayal of Elektra in Daredevil enough justification to give her a spin-off from beyond the grave. She wasn't bad in the original, per se, but her performance is only really notable for transcending the terrible material - something she couldn't do with the spin-off.
It might be short, but the film is so heavily stuffed with one-dimensional characters and gob-smackingly awful performances that it feels like it lasts much longer. Garner seems to be surrounded with other actors - particularly Terrence Stamp - who seem to have decided silently not to commit to the film just after getting into costume.
The result is dull, provocatively annoying and saw the end of director Rob Bowman's feature career.
