Every Marvel Comic Book Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

44. Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider 2007
Columbia Pictures

Who could ever have guessed that a film starring Nic Cage as a flame-headed instrument of the devil riding a motorbike wouldn't work? Even more shocking, though, is the revelation that the film is actually boring.

That's right, a film starring Nic Cage with a skull head that is literally on fire is as dull as dishwater.

Despite failing with Daredevil, director Mark Steven Johnson was handed the opportunity to ruin another beloved Marvel property by sucking out all of the fun and watering everything down for a PG-13 rating the studio presumably thought would help them sell more toys.

For his part, Nic Cage is fine... Well, he's just Nic Cage. But he's hampered by a guinea pig-like hairpiece and a script so bad that everyone seems to have tried to over-compensate by going full ham.
