Every Matrix Fight Ranked Worst To Best 

The Burly Brawl was The Matrix Reloaded's biggest selling point. Watching Neo face off against 100 Agent Smiths sounded like it was going to be the most groundbreaking battle in movie history.

But over the years, this bout has received a lot of flack for relying on excessive and unconvincing CGI. As more and more Agent Smiths enter the fray, the scene stops resembling an action scene and starts resembling a cut-scene from a video game.

Having said that, the first half of the fight is truly breath-taking. Watching Neo blocking and defecting dozens of enemies is so seamless, you can't help but rewind certain shots over and over.

What's also important about this scene is that it proves Neo isn't invincible. This is the first time we've seen Neo struggle in a fight after becoming The One, which gives the section a lot more tension. No matter how good the fighting choreography looks, the audience wouldn't care unless we believed the hero was in genuine danger.

Unfortunately, the fight goes downhill as soon as Neo pulls out the pipe.
