Every Matt Damon Movie Ranked Worst To Best
55. Jersey Girl (2004)
Jersey Girl was the first movie from Kevin Smith not to feature Jay and
Silent Bob, and though it's far from the director's strongest work, as an ode
to parenthood is not quite as bad as the critics would have you believe.
It has some sweet moments, but is often let down by its reliance on forced sentimentality and Ben Affleck's dismal leading performance.
Damon turns out another cameo as an executive interviewing Affleck for a
job. He's funny, kind of smarmy, and then he's gone. The rest of the film never
lives up his one and only scene.
