Every Matt Damon Movie Ranked Worst To Best

56. All The Pretty Horses (2000)

All The Pretty Horses Matt Damon
Columbia Pictures/Miramax

Based on the Cormac McCarthy classic of the same name, All the Pretty Horses makes for unfortunately tiresome viewing. Damon stars as protagonist John Grady Cole, a young cowboy who finds himself in trouble after the death of his grandfather.

Directed by Billy Bob Thornton, the film has a semi-decent performance from Penelope Cruz and some striking cinematography, but with its lack of commitment to the source material it ultimately ends up a forgettable and uninspired outing.
