Every Matt Damon Movie Ranked Worst To Best
56. All The Pretty Horses (2000)
Based on the Cormac McCarthy classic of the same name, All the Pretty
Horses makes for unfortunately tiresome viewing. Damon stars as protagonist
John Grady Cole, a young cowboy who finds himself in trouble after the death of
his grandfather.
Directed by Billy Bob Thornton, the film has a semi-decent performance
from Penelope Cruz and some striking cinematography, but with its lack of
commitment to the source material it ultimately ends up a forgettable and
uninspired outing.
