When the Avengers came together for the very first time, Hawkeye initially seemed somewhat out of place. He was fighting side by side with living legends, and genuine super powered heroes, yet he was simply a normal man with a bow and arrow. He wasn't in the same league as those around him.

He even joked about it when fighting Ultron's army in Sokovia, and he was right, a man like this being one of the Avengers really didn't make sense. However, in the years since, through Civil War, and Endgame in particular, Clint Barton more than proved his worth to the team.

Through originally working with SHIELD, Hawkeye became an expert with his weapon of choice, a master assassin, and managed to cause the Avengers a lot of problems when under Loki's spell. Even when he abandoned the team and became a murderous vigilante, he proved just how lethal he could be.

But strength has never come into it for Clint. It is his patience, instinct, and accuracy that Hawkeye has relied on in the battlefield, rather than any real physical prowess.
