Every MCU Dad - Ranked From Worst To Best

3. Tony Stark

Avengers Infinity War Thanos Gamora
Marvel Studios

Tony Stark’s relationship with his daughter is only dealt with in Endgame, as she’s only born during the time skip in that movie.

However, considering he’s at least one of the main characters there (and was the only actor given the full script), the movie does delve into this relationship well enough to show he’s a brilliant dad.

Morgan does love him 3000, after all.

There’s also his relationship with Peter Parker which, while not making him a father or adoptive father, does at least make him a father figure. Something which he again excels at, even if he sometimes pretends like he isn’t.

Peter’s classic uncle Ben storyline has been removed entirely, with Tony Stark stepping into the gap and replacing such an iconic figure perfectly. He expects the best from Peter, and he’s not above snapping out of his usual charismatic self to put Peter in his place.

Peter’s dusting in Tony’s arms and Tony’s death in Peter’s are two of the most tearjerking moments the MCU has produced.

His connection with Harvey Keener in Iron Man 3, while it wouldn’t be enough to qualify him on its own, yet again shows his fantastic ability to nurture young minds.
