Every MCU Movie Ranked By Death Count
5. Thor: Ragnarok - 687
Ragnarok was the prophecy that would end Asgard, and the movie lived up to such destruction promised by its name as it claimed almost 700 lives. While escaping Surtur's lair, Thor saw to the deaths of 85 of the villain's minions, including the dragon that was decapitated by the Bifrost.
Hela however, put her little brother to shame when she landed on Asgard, taking out the approximately 330 soldier strong Asgardian army all by herself. Thor and Loki teamed up to kill 18 of the Grandmaster's guards, while Valkyrie, who earlier killed 35 other scrappers to get to him, helped the God of Thunder take down seven more in the Star Wars-esque battle in the skies above Sakaar. Heimdall also contributed by taking out six of Hela's army, and the Grandmaster hilariously murdered his own cousin.
The huge final battle for Asgard saw just about everyone get involved in the killing, as over 200 nameless Asgardians, Sakaarians, and Hela's Berserkers died, as well as Fenris, Skurge, Surtur, and Hela herself.
Though hundreds died throughout Ragnarok, there were four deaths that stood out, and for very different reasons. Odin's passing was one of the most solemn death scenes in the history of the MCU, while the Warriors Three were all killed off almost as an afterthought. It may have proven Hela's threat to Thor's homeworld, but they deserved far better than that.
