The final battle between the Avengers and Thanos is tough to quantify in terms of death count, as the end of the movie saw billions, if not trillions more people alive than at the beginning. However, there were still more than enough deaths to take it near the top of this list.

Of course, the biggest wipe out was by Tony Stark. When he snapped his fingers, he killed not only himself, but also Thanos and his army of thousands of soldiers. Taking into account the Chitauri, the Outriders, and the other beings the Mad Titan recruited, these deaths would almost certainly outweigh those of the Chitauri alone in The Avengers. The final battle also saw the on screen deaths of 2014 Nebula, and the six Outriders Hawkeye killed.

Even before Thanos smashed into 2023 and nuked the Avengers' headquarters, Endgame was littered with death. The Mad Titan himself had his head chopped off by Thor on the Garden, and his daughters came together to kill three alien creatures back in 2014. Clint murdered six people in Tokyo, and in 2012, ten Chitauri warriors were killed by The Ancient One and the Hulk.

Easily the most shocking death of the movie however, came on Vormir when Natasha sacrificed herself for the Soul Stone. Fans went into the Infinity Saga finale knowing it could have been Tony Stark's end, but Black Widow's death was a huge shock, and almost tougher to take.
