14. Iron Man 3 (2013)
A strong argument could be made for Iron Man 3 being the most underappreciated film in the MCU.
Following on from the events of the first Avengers, Tony Stark finds himself on the run, almost entirely suit-less, and suffering from anxiety attacks courtesy of his recent near-sacrifice during the Battle of New York.
Remembered most clearly for its divisive Mandarin twist (which is a lot more fun than its detractors would have you believe), Iron Man 3 is boosted to greatness by Robert Downey Jr's vulnerable performance, its exquisite barrel of monkeys sequence, and its intimate, low stakes story.
It may remain one of the most debated films of the franchise, but it's also one of the most heartfelt and rewarding, and that counts for a lot.
