Every Mitchell And Webb Film And TV Project Ranked From Worst To Best
2. That Mitchell and Webb Look
That Mitchell and Webb Look has aged like a fine wine. The super meme-able sketches have brought the show to the attention to a whole new generation, and the fact there hasn’t really been a new UK sketch show approaching the same quality in the last decade has led to newfound levels of appreciation for what the duo were able to do.
Many of the sketches have their origins in the BBC Radio 4 show, That Mitchell and Webb Sound, which was massively successful in its own right and actually outlived the TV series. Mitchell and Webb were main writers, but there were also writing credits for Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (Magicians, Peep Show), Joel Morris (Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe) and regular on this list Olivia Colman.
The show would run for 4 series between 2006 and 2010, picking up a BAFTA for Best Comedy Series in 2007 and would be syndicated on 6 different continents.
