Every Non-MCU Marvel Movie RANKED From Worst To Best

14. Howard The Duck

Marvel Movies
Universal Pictures

Released in 1986, Howard the Duck was the first big screen Marvel movie since 1944. It was a resounding flop, but don't believe the bad press: it is a weird, wild, and wonderful little film.

Focusing on the titular duck and his human love interest, played by an extremely game Lea Thompson, it is the best inter-species romance ever put to film. And we include Bee Movie in that.

What's so charming about Harold is that is in absolutely no way a hero. He was randomly teleported to our world from his duck dimension, and he does not deal with adventure well. This movie manages to coast by on that charm and oddness, and is well worth your time if you haven't seen it yet.

However, if you're the kind of prude who winces at the sight of an animatronic duck's nipples, this is NOT the film for you.
