Every Philip Seymour Hoffman Movie Ranked Worst To Best
20. Officer Raymer - Nobody's Fool (1994)
Based on Richard Russo's novel of the same name, Nobody's Fool follows an aging bachelor (Paul Newman) whose life is thrown into turmoil when his estranged son (Dylan Walsh) turns up on his doorstep.
What it lacks in exciting originality, Nobody's Fool more than makes up for with a slew of complex and moving performances, and a supporting turn from Hoffman which casts him as local cop who gets into a fight with Newman in the film's final act. He's funny, memorable and entertaining - much like the film itself.
