Every Pixar Hero Ranked From Worst To Best

This is a bit of a tricky one to rank, because so much of Lightyear's heavy lifting is done by the Space Ranger we know and love from the original Toy Story series.

This is technically not the same Buzz but rather the movie character on who the Buzz action figures are based, with Tim Allen being shrewdly switched out for Chris Evans to cement the difference.

Evans certainly does a remarkable job playing Buzz, all full of grit and chisel-jawed integrity, making us feel the anguish of his desperate quest to return home and the warmth of his growing friendships with those around him.

Lightyear as a film doesn't even begin to do the concept full justice, but the magic of the character transpires through just enough to make the movie work more than it doesn't.
