Every Pixar Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

16. Incredibles 2

Incredibles 2 is a movie that was warmly embraced upon release though saw much of the fanbase turn around on it in record time.

It's certainly not one of Pixar's strongest sequels but mostly delivers the expected fun, cannily parodying both superhero movies and family comedies.

The characterisation of the Parrs is perhaps its single strongest suit, aided by superb voice performances from Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter, while director Brad Bird stages mesmerising action sequences touting first-rate animation.

The film's biggest problem, as is so often an issue in superhero movies, is the villain: the Screenslaver isn't a particularly interesting baddie and the big twist is infinitely more predictable than Bird seemingly thought while making it.

Incredibles 2 is definitely a sequel that fans wanted, and while it doesn't reach the original's heights it's still a respectably solid entry, no matter what some Pixar obsessives might say.
