Every Pixar Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

12. Soul

Pixar

It took Pixar 23 movies over 25 years to finally give us one with a Black protagonist, but Soul was most certainly worth the wait.

The studio's most emotionally perceptive film since Inside Out, Soul is an endlessly creative existential comedy that, like Inside Out, operates on one level for kids and a whole other for adults.

While its concept isn't the most accessible for a film aimed at children, Soul lives up to the promises of its title, offering up one of Pixar's most artistically and thematically ambitious works to date, abetted by an incredible musical score and stellar vocal performances from Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey.

Equal parts playful and thoughtful, Soul overspills imagination and heart in every single moment. What more could you want?
