Every Pixar Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
9. Ratatouille
Touting one of Pixar's most hilariously deranged concepts to date, Ratatouille inexplicably makes glorious sense of its "rat who wants to become a chef" premise, delivering a rich, full-hearted tribute to the creative joys of cooking.
It goes without saying that Ratatouille is a visually sumptuous affair that delivers an abundance of animated "food porn" - not a film to watch on an empty stomach, then.
Yet despite the potential silliness of a film where a rat controls a chef by pulling his hair, Ratatouille is a highly evocative film about the thrill of honing an artistic craft, no matter who you are or what it is.
Patton Oswalt is fantastic in the lead role of rat Remy, yet the show is very nearly stolen by the great Peter O'Toole, whose sublime performance as villainous food critic Anton Ego so perfectly tees up that wonderful climax.
