Every Pixar Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
19. A Bug's Life
Pixar's second-ever feature film couldn't help but struggle by releasing between the zeitgeist-capturing Toy Story and its beloved sequel, and while not nearly as good as either of those films, its dismissal as "forgettable" seems a little unfair.
Sure, the story and characters lack the iconic appeal of the studio's best films, but it's still got charm to spare and the animation is wonderfully weird, even if it's the lesser of the two ant-themed animated films released in 1998 (the other being the brilliant Antz).
Of all Pixar's films this is probably the one most deserving of a re-evaluation from audiences, because its odd duck status feels grossly unearned even if it's hardly a top-tier offering.
