Every Pixar Movie Ranked Worst To Best
6. Inside Out (2015)
Inside Out is what would have happened if the opening moments of Up were kept up over an entire film. No Pixar feature is as consistently eye-watering or heartbreaking as this Amy Poehler-led family drama, in which one young teen's emotions try to figure themselves out as the world changes around them.
Inside Out features a wide range of complex ideas about growing up and embracing one's emotions, and is as informative as it is funny, moving and daring.
Sure, there are moments when the plot becomes somewhat convoluted as Joy and Sadness attempt to find a way to work together (and Sadness, it should be noted, tends to grate after a while), but between the tragic tale of Bing Bong and the powerful family-centred drama, Inside Out is certainly one of Pixar's most emotional and rewarding experiences to date.
