Every Pixar Movie Ranked Worst To Best
5. The Incredibles (2004)
Before the birth of the MCU - at a much simpler time when all we had to worry about was how terrible Blade: Trinity was - there was The Incredibles, a visually impressive family-orientated action that even today stands as one of the best animated superhero films ever made.
For two hours, audiences are treated to a film that is as dark as it is endlessly quotable ("Where's my super suit?") and intensely action-heavy.
The Incredibles has a lot going on, from two disillusioned former superheroes realising they're not too happy in their personal lives, to young supes learning more about their fascinating powers, to a genuinely effective and menacing antagonist. But even with all the character motivations and subplots, the film never feels rushed or overstuffed, and is instead a startling achievement in how to craft tension and create a whole new world for audiences to get lost in.
Could have done with the sequel coming out a bit sooner, mind...
