Every Pixar Movie Ranked Worst To Best
3. Toy Story 4
There's a very good reason Toy Story has strangled the top of this list with its infectious charm and rewatchability factor: it is one of the most perfect film series of all time. When it sags, it only does so slightly and were it not for the perfection of the ending to Toy Story 4, there would be more than enough goodwill to justify even further extension.
On paper, the fourth movie shouldn't have worked. It came too late (or so the cynics claimed) and would over-extend a story that already had a satisfying ending for the sake of selling more toys and tickets. It was, the worst takes suggested, no more than an exercise in Disney flexing their muscles.
But even with the weird prospect of seeing a spork struggling with an existential crisis, this proved to be an utter joy with some of the best supporting characters in the series and a story centred around Woody that superseded Toy Story 3 as the perfect way to end this story.
